Oil and Gas Prospects in Cambodia Overview of status of current exploration and future plans for oil and gas development and production For Cambodia, the past few years have been a time of political stabilization, economic growth and social development. The petroleum sector is seeing the benefits of these developments. In December 1998, the Royal Government of Cambodia (RGC) formed a new governmental authority, the Cambodian National Petroleum Authority (CNPA) o supervise both upstream and downstream activities within the Cambodia’s petroleum industry. This overview of Cambodia's energy policy was presented by H.E.
